Order rules
In order for all visitors, officials and organizers to enjoy themselves at GothCon, there are certain rules to take into account. These are listed below:
- No alcohol consumption may take place in connection with the convention. Intoxicated persons will be turned away from the area.
- All forms of offensive treatment, discrimination, sexual harassment or other harassment are of course prohibited. All violations will be taken very seriously and those responsible will, in gross or repeated cases, be rejected from the convention.
- All forms of vandalism are of course prohibited. Depending on the type of vandalism, a police report will be drawn up and the culprit will be rejected from the convention.
- It is not allowed to enter through locked doors. Entry must only take place through unlocked or manned doors!
- In the event of a fire alarm, the building must be evacuated. This applies in all situations.
- Paying visitors must carry their entry card visibly to facilitate checks. Organizers must wear their organizer badges.
- Blank weapons or replicas of real weapons are not allowed at the convention.
- Clean up after yourself and dispose of rubbish and deposits in the correct place.
- Motifs with exaggerated depictions of violence and sexual motifs may not be used in posters and signage (or be, openly, for sale). We reserve the right to remove material that we find violates this rule.
- It is not allowed to attach things to walls or doors without permission, please contact reception for permission and the correct type of tape.
- Keep in mind that there are people who are allergic, so avoid as much as possible ingesting things that can cause an allergic reaction through the air. There is a total nut and sesame ban in the area throughout the convention.
