Hiking
On foot from the Nils Ericsson Terminal and the Central Station:
Follow Norra Hamngatan to Brunnsparken.
Turn south onto Östra Hamngatan and follow this.
Östra Hamngatan then turns into Avenyn and ends at Götaplatsen with the Poseidon statue in the middle.
Turn up the hill to the right, this is Viktor Rydbergsgatan.
At the crest of the hill, turn right at the traffic lights, then you are on the driveway to Hvitfeldtska gymnasium.
Public transport
From the Central Station, take either bus 16 from the Nordstan stop (towards Högsbohöjd) or tram 7 from the Central Station stop (towards Tynnered). If you are traveling from Brunnsparken, you can also take bus 19 (towards Fredriksdal) or tram 10 (towards Guldheden).
Get off at the Kapellplatsen stop.
You can buy a ticket via Västtrafik's "To Go" app. See Västtrafik's website for more information about local traffic in Gothenburg and ticket prices. You can also buy tickets from Västtrafik's agent, e.g. Pressbyrån and 7-Eleven.
Discount with SJ
Also this year, as a member of Sverok, you can travel to GothCon with a 10% discount at SJ. You can access the discount via Sverok's website.
Sverok buses
Some Sverok districts usually organize bus trips to GothCon. Ask your respective district if they have such plans this year!
With car
The parking at Hvitfeldtska is managed by Parkering Göteborg. For more information on parking as well as maps of parking spaces in the area, visit their website. In the app you can find prices and more parking spaces.
There is a limited number of parking spaces on the school grounds.
