WHAT IS DISCORD?
Discord is a software that is made for meeting and socializing with others. It works on your computer, but also on a tablet or mobile phone.
At Discord, there are a lot of different servers, for a lot of different interests. It is very easy to create your own server, for e.g. your gaming group or group of friends. Once there, you can chat in the text channels and in the voice channels you can talk directly to each other, the whole group. Perfect if you play games together, with a webcam it's great to play role-playing games. Of course, it's completely free!
HOW DO I GET IT?
Enter into https://discord.com
In there, you can either run Discord directly in your browser, or download the program to your computer. You need to create an account if you don't already have one, but as I said, it's completely free. Regardless of the username you have on your account, you can always change your nickname on each server.
After that, it's time to join GothCon's server, you can find it easiest by clicking on this link.
